I have come and shot with Rob for numerous years as I enjoy the great goose and duck shooting provided. I have particularly relished shooting the Wigeon and Teal coming into his splashes. This really gets the heart racing. I can not wait for 6^th October  2011 already. Thanks Rob and good luck with the rest of the season.

I have shot geese for over 30 years now on the Scottish mainland. During the start of my goose shooting experiences I had some great shooting. However, the past 10 years  or so I have experienced some poor and overcrowded shooting. In the past I have been put off by the distance to travel to try shooting on Orkney, however I had a friend who came and shot with Rob last season and he had a great trip so I thought I should give it a go this season. I have not regretted this decision for one moment. I have had a great week and experienced this sport how it should be conducted. I will not be messing about with shooting on the mainland anymore and have booked to come up with Rob next January. Thanks Rob.

Rob is the most knowledgeable goose guide I have ever been with. Every day he has got geese and ducks to fully commit to his patterns and he has been fully open when asked to discuss what he does and how he does it. Not only have I had a great week shooting but I have also learned a lot of things that will help me decoy more effectively at home.
