The Orkney Hotel

We recommend the Orkney Hotel.

It is a 17th Century hotel where superb local cuisine meets traditional Orcadian hospitality in the heart of the ancient royal burgh of Kirkwall. Dating back to 1670, the hotel has been sympathetically renovated, retaining many of its original features and its charm.

The hotel offers 30 en-suite rooms, many renovated to a four-star standard, such as the junior suites that include a four-poster bed, Jacuzzi bath, wide screen TV, DVD player and two phone points. All rooms offer Sky Satellite TV and include Sky Sports 1, 2 and 3.

After shooting you can retire to the hotel where you can visit the hotel's Victoria Restaurant which offers unique and creative dishes prepared with the finest local produce by Head Chef Mark Jordan. After dinner you will be able to relax by the fire and choose from over 60 Scottish whiskies for an after-dinner dram in the quiet St. Magnus lounge.

If you would like to stay in either of these options  we will take care of booking it for you.
